Marieke Eyskoot is sustainable fashion and lifestyle expert, speaker and presenter, author and consultant.

Marieke is author of the first Dutch guide to fair fashion and lifestyle: 'Talking Dress – Alles over eerlijke kleding en lifestyle.' She is co-founder of forward fashion trade show MINT (the sustainable fashion trade show of the Benelux, part of Modefabriek), and has created free fair fashion and lifestyle shopping app ‘Talking Dress’ (15.000+ downloads).

Next to this, Marieke is an all-round, dedicated and well-received event host, presenter and moderator (for amongst others the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ASN Bank, Max Havelaar and H&M), experienced keynote speaker (at for instance the Ministry of Economic Affairs and TEDx) and panellist (at a.o. Amsterdam Fashion Week and De Balie). She also works as radio newsreader and presenter, as well as voice-over.

Marieke is part of newspaper Trouw‘s Sustainable People Top 100, selected for trade journal Textilia‘s Fashion Powerlist Top 100 and nominated by newspaper Het Parool as Amsterdam Citizen of the Year (and by magazines Glamour, Viva, Red and Marie Claire for their lists of top women). She has been involved in work for a better garment industry for over 12 years. She has an extensive global ethical fashion network, and is known for bringing several leading international sustainable fashion brands to the Benelux. For many Dutch media, from TV-programmes such as Kassa, RTL Boulevard and EenVandaag to newspapers, magazines and blogs, she is the go-to person when it comes to commenting on developments in sustainable fashion and lifestyle.
